Monday marks Memorial Day – with services planned across the KMCH listening area.
Manchester Legion Commander Warren Coates says their services will be held at Manchester’s Oakland Cemetery starting at 11 am.
If you can’t make it to the Memorial Day service in Manchester, you can listen to it on KMCH at 1 pm on Monday.
The Legion will also put up their traditional “Avenue of Flags” in downtown Manchester and up and down North Franklin Street over Memorial Day weekend, with the red, white and blue flying along the cemeteries. Any volunteers wanting to help put up those flags can meet at the cemetery at 7 am on Saturday.
And the Manchester Legion will hold their monthly Steak Fry this Saturday night – that runs from 4:30 to 7:30 pm. For carryouts, call 927-3271.
