Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine Walk-In BOOSTER SHOT Clinic
November 6 @ 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
A Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine Walk-In BOOSTER SHOT Clinic will be held on Saturday, November 6th from 8AM-1PM at the Delaware County Fairgrounds Pavilion, 200 E. Acers Street, Manchester.
You do not need an appointment.
Please do not arrive early. Doors will not open until 8 AM.
You must bring your COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card with you.
Save some time and visit regmedctr.org/covid-vaccine-consent-form to complete the consent form prior to the walk-in vaccine clinic. Please bring this with you when you come to get your vaccine.
It is important to note that this is a Moderna BOOSTER DOSE ONLY clinic. The booster dose is different from the initial two-dose series and the 3rd dose for immunocompromised individuals.
The CDC recommends individuals who received a Moderna or Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to receive a booster shot at least 6 months or more after their initial two-dose series. Eligibility is as follows:
People 65 years and older
People 18 years and older who reside in long-term care settings
People 18 years and older with underlying medical conditions
People 18 years and older who work or live in high-risk settings
Individuals may self-report they are eligible and receive a booster shot.
Additionally, the CDC recommends individuals age 18 and older who received a Johnson & Johnson (J&J) COVID-19 vaccine should receive a booster dose at least 2 months after receiving the initial dose.
In general, the same vaccine product used for the primary regimen should be used for the booster. However, the CDC now allows for “mix and match” booster doses for booster shots. So, if you received the Pfizer (Comirnaty) or Johnson & Johnson (J&J) vaccine for your primary series, you can receive the Moderna as your booster dose in the appropriate time frame. Please talk to your healthcare provider for guidance on your booster dose if you have questions about “mix and match” doses.
If this Moderna Boost Shot Clinic does not work with your schedule or if you want the Johnson & Johnson (J&J) or Pfizer boost vaccine, please reach out to your healthcare provider or pharmacy. Regional Family Health offers Johnson & Johnson (J&J) and Moderna vaccines; call 563-927-7777 to schedule your boost dose.
