Hauschild Appointed Manchester’s Interim Police Chief

hauschildManchester Mayor Milt Kramer has appointed an interim police chief. Sergeant Jim Hauschild will serve as Manchester’s interim police chief until a new chief is named. He will step in for Chief Bruce Trapp, who will retire on April 30th. Mayor Kramer says he asked Chief Trapp, city officials and some city residents for recommendations on an interim police chief, and Hauschild’s name was a nearly unanimous choice. Hauschild has worked for the Manchester Police Department for twenty years, and will take over as interim chief starting May 1st.  (Photo courtesy of Telegraph Herald)
