HS Baseball/Softball Results from Wed 5-28 and Thursday 5-29 Games

The West Delaware Hawks baseball team opened up WaMaC conference east division play on the road in DeWitt last night. The preseason top-ten ranked 3A teams battled  in game but the Hawks prevailed, 1-0 behind the strong pitching effort from senior Jake Voss. Game 2 was a different story and the bats never came alive for West Delaware, falling 5-0 to the Sabers. The Hawk are now 2-1 overall and will be off until Tuesday night when they welcome in Maquoketa for their home opener.

The West Delaware Hawks will open up their WaMaC east division schedule in DeWitt tonight. The Hawks come in with a 1-0 record after a 1-0 win over Oelwein Tuesday night. The varsity doubleheader starts at 6pm with live coverage from KMCH Sports starting around 5:55pm with Sports Director Jon Swisher and West Delaware AD Mike Morrison.
