Pickup Truck Crashes into Manchester Home

A pickup truck crashed into a Manchester home Thursday morning.

It happened along West Main Street just east of Casey’s General Store shortly after 10:30 am.

Manchester Police say the pickup truck was eastbound on West Main Street when it left the road, traveled across the city terrace and onto the back lawn of 900 West Main Street. It then crashed a several feet into the west side of the house.

The driver, 65-year old Dale Marsh of Manchester, told police he knew where he was coming from and where he was heading. But he says he didn’t recall leaving the road or hitting the house.

Police say Marsh didn’t appear to have any injuries from the accident. No word on whether anyone inside the home was injured.

The house, owned by Betty Neuhaus, was estimated to have around 25-thousand dollars in damage.
