Sounds of Summer 2022

Each weekday, listeners will be encouraged to listen for the “Sounds of Summer” cue to call where we will play either “Long Hot Summer” by Keith Urban or “Southbound” by Carrie Underwood.

When the listener hears either song, the 7th caller will win a daily prize: tickets to a local attraction or event. The daily winners will be put into a drawing for the GRAND PRIZE.

To win the grand prize, we will randomly draw two listeners from our daily sounds of summer winners. We will play a lyric to “Long Hot Summer” and “Southbound”. They must sing the remainder of the lyric. If done correctly, each winner will win an overnight stay in a Des Moines hotel with 2 tickets to either Keith Urban or Carrie Underwood at the Iowa State Fair!
