West Delaware and St. Mary’s – Breakfast and lunch will be available to all children under the age of 18, regardless of whether they are West Delaware students or not. All we need is the number of students who are taking lunch. We do not need school ID or any verification of need.
Breakfast and lunch can both picked up at same time. Children can pick up grab and go meals from any of our district buildings. They will be required to take the meal with them and not stay on site to eat.

Monticello Schools: offering brown bag meals free to anyone 18 years of age and under, Monday – Friday from 11am-11:30am. These lunches will be available at Carpenter Elementary School and at the Old Middle School starting Monday, March 23 and run until Friday, April 10. They will be “Grab & Go” which means we will be handing them out to people outside of the building.

Foundation for the Future of Delaware County has started the COVID-19 Relief Fund for low-income families in Delaware County experiencing financial difficulty due to the coronavirus pandemic. To contribute, go to dbqfoundation.org/ffdcCovidRelief. Contributions can also be dropped off at F&M Bank in Manchester, GNB Bank in Manchester, and Community Savings Bank in Manchester, Earlville, and Edgewood. Manchester’s Metal and Electronic Recycling Event – Postponed until September 12th (8 am to noon at the Delaware County Fairgrounds). For a complete list of what items are allowed, go to manchesteriowa.org.
City of Manchester – Closing all city playgrounds. Signs are up at each playground area and caution tape at each playground entrance, swing set, etc. Parks and trails remain open.
Camp Courageous – Omelet Breakfast and Open House, scheduled for Sunday, April 26th, 2020, has been cancelled. Camp Courageous would like to thank all of the sponsors and supporters who have donated toward the annual Omelet Breakfast. Their support will go towards the annual Camp Courageous Pancake Breakfast and Open House to be held this fall on Sunday, September 27th, 2020, on the grounds at Camp. Dundee City Council – will be postponing the April 1st council meeting until April 8th at 6:30 pm for the safety of the Dundee City Council and public
Delaware County Treasurer’s Office – Closed. There is a drop box in front of the office and if the public has any questions they can call our Office at 563-927-2845. Again, people can pay their property taxes and auto renewals online at www.iowatreasurers.org or by the U.S. Postal Services.
James Kennedy Public Library – adjusting their hours currently scheduled through Sunday, April 12. Library staff will be in the library from 9 am-7 pm Monday-Thursday and 9 am-5 pm on Friday and Saturday. The library will not be staffed on Sundays. Staff will answer phones and provide any services they can remotely, including providing assistance in using online services.
Delaware County Driver’s licensing services shut down until further notice. At this time we will stay open for autos and taxes until further notice. We are limiting 2 people at the counter at all times. People need to wait to stay in the lobby until they are asked in.

Greeley Meal Site – Closed until further notice
The City of Monticello – Monticello City Hall, the Monticello Public Library, and public spaces located within the Renaissance Center and Community Building will be closed to the public as will the Berndes Recreation Center. All library activities, park and recreation activities, and Berndes Center rentals will be cancelled with full refunds being issued. The closures and cancellations will continue through Sunday April 12th. While it is currently anticipated that all City buildings will reopen on Monday April 13th it is possible that closures and cancellations will continue beyond that date. City Council and other public meetings held through April 12th will be held electronically.

All Catholic Churches in the Archdiocese of Dubuque Pastorate – Weekend Masses have been canceled through April 7. Archbishop Jackels will live stream Holy Mass each Sunday at 9:00 a.m. Go to www.dbqarch.org/live-broadcasts to watch. The scheduled intentions for the Masses will still be offered by the priests privately. Sunday Masses will be pre-recorded and can be viewed on local access cable TV in Dyersville. There is also a link to watch these Masses on the cluster website at spiresoffaith.com. Daily Masses will be live streamed and can be viewed at 8 am. Consult the cluster website for the link. This broadcast will be available afterward as well. Appointments for individual confessions can be made through the cluster office at Dyersville 563 875 7325. Homebound Communion to the homebound has been suspended. If a parishioner is dying and wants Viaticum, they should contact the cluster office in Dyersville. People may still use codes to enter the chapel at Beckman Catholic and pray and may also pray at the basilica and our other cluster churches from sunrise to sunset.
