Delhi Public Library Hosting Seed Swap

The Delhi Public Library will hold the largest simultaneous seed swap in our state’s history on Saturday.

This event will be held in the Delhi Public Library from 10 am to noon. Every adult attendee can select up to five free seed packets and children under 12 can pick two free packets of their own.

The library is hosting the seed swap in partnership with Nine Square Feet, which is a volunteer-run non-profit community organization whose mission is to support backyard food production by sharing seeds. It has identified veggies and herb varieties suited for small-space gardeners and selected easy-to-grow, tried-and-true garden staples for beginners.

Experienced gardeners can come to find something unique and special that they’ve never grown before.

No registration is needed – just stop by, plan your garden early and pick out your free seeds.
