A Dubuque County home was destroyed by a fire late Saturday night.
The Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office says their deputies and several fire departments responded to 8216 Wildlife Refuge south of Dubuque shortly after 9 pm.
Everyone inside the home was able to get out before emergency personnel arrived. Two occupants were treated for smoke inhalation and released.
The fire started in the basement and spread through the home. The home was a total loss, with damage estimated at $750,000.
The Sheriff’s Office says the cause of the fire has not yet been determined, but is not considered suspicious.
