DOT Requesting Public’s Feedback on Fayette County Bridge Project
The DOT wants the public’s feedback on a proposed bridge project in Fayette County.
The bridge on Highway 3 over the Maquoketa River about two miles east of Highway 187 is proposed to be replaced during the 2025 construction season, with through traffic maintained at all times.
A virtual presentation about the proposed project is taking place over the next couple weeks so the public can learn more about it. If you’re interested, log on to iowadot.gov/pim and click on the “IA 3 Bridge Replacement Maquoketa River”. The virtual presentation will be available anytime between May 25th and June 8th. You can experience a self-guided tour of the proposed improvements and submit comments and questions.
If you don’t have access to the internet or need help viewing the materials, contact the DOT at 641-423-7584.
Comments will be accepted through June 8th.
