Midwest Pride In Your Ride Reaches Million Dollar Mark

Midwest Pride In Your Ride reached a milestone this year.

The annual truck and tractor show is a fundraiser for the Relay for Life, with proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. And committee member Greg Preussner of Delhi says they’re proud to announce they’ve reached the $1,000,000 mark.

The show, held earlier this month on May 5th and 6th at Tri-State Raceway in Earlville, ended up getting a good turnout, despite rain on opening night.

Midwest Pride In Your Ride was started by Worthington trucker Eldon Jaeger, who wanted to do something in memory of his daughter who passed away from cancer. The first show was held in 2011, bringing in a little over $20,000 – and they’ve been growing ever since.

And Preussner says even though they’ve reached the one million dollar mark, they’re going to keep going.
