The owner of the Oran Locker has been charged with fraud.
The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office says charges were filed on Tuesday after a joint investigation with the Iowa Department of Agriculture & Land Stewardship.
53-year old Todd William Briddle of Readlyn faces two counts of 5th Degree Fraudulent Practice. Briddle is also charged with two counts of prepaid/offered for sale and transportation of adulterated and misbranded meat or products.
The Sheriff’s Office says all four counts are simple misdemeanors. Bridle will appear in court on the charges at a later date.
