Three More Arrested in Drug Ring in Fayette County
Three more people have been arrested in a drug ring in Fayette County.
On Wednesday, West Union Police and the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant on the premises of Family Dollar/Dollar Tree in West Union.
It was the 11th search warrant in just over a week stemming from a joint investigation by West Union Police and the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office into a drug ring in northeast Iowa. The entire store, along with two vehicles on the property, were searched. Drug paraphernalia, controlled substances and a large amount of cash were located and seized.
Authorities arrested 39-year old Angela Lynn Becker of Strawberry Point, 28-year old Collin Matthew Lynn Sorg of Fayette and 35-year old Krystal Lynn Fox of Sumner. All three were charged with possessing drug paraphernalia and marijuana, with Becker and Sorg also charged with intending to deliver marijuana.
A total of sixteen people have now been arrested in connection to this drug ring.
