Starmont Signs Helping to Spread School Spirit

School spirit is high at Starmont right now.

The football, volleyball and cross country teams have been having exceptional seasons – and the Starmont Student Council has come up with a fun idea to help spread school spirit in the community. Junior Audrey Francois:

Sophomore Jack Thole says they’ve had a lot of fun sneaking around with the signs, with over two dozen delivered so far.

But the signs are just one part of the school spirit being shown at Starmont this fall. Thole, who is a member of the varsity football team, says the support at games this year has been incredible.

It’s been 13 years since Starmont has been able to host a playoff game on their home turf – dating all the way back to 2010.

And Francois, who plays on the Starmont volleyball team, says they’ve got a big post-season meet coming up Monday night.

If you’d like to help support Starmont by purchasing a spirit sign, feel free to reach out to the school. The students say they’ll be donating all the proceeds from the signs to a special cause.

Help us cheer on the Stars tonight! We’ll be bringing you video coverage of tonight’s Starmont/North Butler football playoffs game on our website at kmch.com.
