Congresswoman Ashley Hinson was in Delaware County for a town hall meeting on Wednesday afternoon.
Around fifty people gathered for Hinson’s town hall at Old 20 Auctions in Manchester. Hinson’s Delaware County stop was her 35th in-person town hall since taking office in 2021.
Hinson took questions and concerns from the audience about the Farm Bill, SNAP, supporting Ukraine and parental involvement in children’s education, as well as a statement about too many laws not being enforced.
Congress reconvenes next week and Hinson says their top priority will be dealing with government funding issues.
Hinson will also be holding a town hall in Linn County on Thursday at 9 am at Kirkwood Community College.
