A Dyersville man had an unforgettable Christmas after winning a $10,000 lottery prize.
29-year old Zakkary Hansel claimed the fourth top prize in the Iowa Lottery’s “Money Bag Doubler” game on Friday. Hansel purchased the lottery tickets at Sundstop on the southwest side of Dyersville for a holiday game with his siblings – and ended up with the lucky ticket himself.
Hansel says it was a shock when he realized he won $10,000.
Hansel, who works in IT and owns a cleaning business, said he plans to save his winnings for a down payment on a house.
