Congratulations to Manchester firefighter Ed Tibbott on being named the Iowa Firefighter of the Year.
The honor comes from the Iowa Firefighter Association, with the award presented at their mid-winter banquet. Several members of the Manchester Fire Department gathered to surprise Tibbott and extend their congratulations.
In a year dedicated to kindness, with April being all about volunteering, the City of Manchester wants to take a moment to express their gratitude to Ed & all the volunteer firefighters for their commitment and service to the community.
