A Dubuque County home was destroyed by fire on Monday afternoon.
The Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office and several fire departments responded to 12275 Circle Ridge Road east of Sherrill around 1 pm after receiving a report of smoke coming from a first floor window of the home.
The Sheriff’s Office says the home and its contents, valued at approximately $200,000, are considered a total loss.
No injuries were reported. The Red Cross has responded to assist the family.
The incident remains under investigation.
