Fayette County Man Wanted on Nationwide Warrant for Sexually Assaulting Child

Fayette County authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding a man wanted for sexual assault. 

After a two-week investigation, a nationwide warrant has been issued for 45-year old Matthew Eric Nordrum of Clermont. He’s been charged with Second Degree Sexual Abuse. 

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office says Nordrum allegedly sexually assaulted a child under the age of five while the child was at his home. 

The investigation also led to three other allegations that are currently under investigation for sexual assault.  

Fayette County Sheriff Marty Fisher is asking for the public’s assistance in finding Nodrum. If you know his whereabouts, please call your local authorities or the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office at 563-422-6067.   

Fisher says this suspect could be in the tri-state area.
