Delaware County Cattlemen Announce Beef Princess Candidates

The Delaware County Cattlemen’s Annual Beef Banquet is coming up later this month – and the Cattlemen have announced the candidates for this year’s Beef Princess – Abigail Krogmann and Myka Brooks.

Abigail is the daughter of Martin and Bonnie Krogmann and is a junior at Starmont. She is involved in FFA as the President, 4-H, County Council, Volleyball and National Honor Society. Abigail enjoys showing cattle, livestock judging and helping around the fair.

Myka is the daughter of Bobbie & Nick Soules and Randy Brooks. She is a sophomore at West Delaware and is involved with FFA, 4-H, County Council, Student Council and has been on the Honor Roll all throughout high school. Myka’s hobbies include showing and raising livestock, working, FFA and agriculture.

Delaware County’s new Beef Princess will be crowned at the banquet on Saturday night, January 28th. The Cattlemen will be serving a 12-oz ribeye steak dinner for $25 per plate (along with $5 kids meals). You’re welcome to drive-thru and pick up dinner between 4 and 5:30 pm or you can enjoy a sit-down meal from 6 to 8 pm.

Justin Roberts of KMCH will serve as the Master of Ceremonies. And there will be many door prizes and live auction items too.

Tickets will not be sold at the door. You can get tickets in advance from local banks, Carl’s Feed Store or any Cattlemen board member.
