Holy Cross Driver Involved in Fatal Cedar Falls Collision
One person was killed in a crash in Cedar Falls on Saturday night.
The Iowa State Patrol says a car driven by 23-year old Braden Williams of Holy Cross was westbound on Cedar Wapsi Road when he struck a car that failed to stop at a stop sign while heading north on Leversee Road.
Williams was not hurt.
The driver of the other car, 18-year old Ethan Roethler of Janesville, was injured and transported to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
One person, 19-year old Quincy Friedrich of Cedar Falls, was killed. Two other people, 20-year old Peyton Franzen of Tripoli and 18-year old Isabella Sellers of Lithia, Florida, were injured. The State Patrol did not indicate in their report which vehicle they were riding in.
The crash remains under investigation.
