Today is Great Give Day – an opportunity for you to make a difference in your community by donating to your favorite local non-profit.
Amanda Diers, Executive Director of the Foundation for the Future of Delaware County, explains:
If you’d like to support one of Delaware County’s local non-profits, you have over a dozen to choose from today.
This is an online-only giving day, so all donations must be made online at greatgiveday.org.
Diers says Great Give Day is a great way to maximize your donations.
All gifts go directly to the non-profits – the foundation doesn’t receive any revenue. While gifts are subject to a five-percent fee to cover credit card fees, you do have the option of increasing your gift to cover that fee – allowing the non-profits to receive a larger gift.
