The DOT is asking for public input on a proposed bridge project in Fayette County.
Crews are proposed to replace the Little Wapsipinicon River Bridge on Highway 3, just west of county road V-68. The project is currently scheduled for the 2025 construction season. Through-traffic on Highway 3 will be detoured utilizing county roads V-62, C-33 and V-68.
You can check out a virtual presentation of the project between May 18th and May 30th. Go to iowadot.gov/pim and click on “IA 3 Bridge Replacement Little Wapsipinicon River”. You’ll get a self-guided tour of the proposed improvements and be able to submit comments and questions anytime during the comment period.
