West Delaware Volleyball Hosting Cancer Awareness Night

West Delaware Volleyball is hosting their annual Cancer Awareness Night tonight.

It’s a special night as the girls bring the community together to show their support. Senior Gracie Lynch says this year’s proceeds will directly benefit Samantha Putz of Manchester.

Cancer has touched those on the volleyball team too, including senior Kate Loecke.

Lynch says there are several ways you can help raise money for the cause.

You can also give your donation to any West Delaware volleyball player or stop by Citizens State Bank and tell them you’d like to donate to the Samantha Putz Benefit. Monetary donation jars will also be set up at tonight’s game.

West Delaware will take on CPU during tonight’s Cancer Awareness Night in Manchester, with freshmen starting at 5 pm, JV at 6 pm and varsity at 7:30 pm.
