First Week of December Ending with Weather Warm-up

The weather is warming up as we wrap up the first week of December.

National Weather Service meteorologist Alexis Jimenez says temperatures are forecasted to be double the norm.

Here in eastern Iowa, highs are forecasted to reach into the 50s on Thursday and Friday – ideal fall-like temperatures if you have any outdoor work left to do this year.

The warm-up won’t last long though. Highs will drop back into the 30s and 40s by the weekend, with a chance of rain and snow Friday night into Saturday night.
