Jones County Drug Dealer Sentenced to Federal Prison
A Jones County drug dealer has been sentenced to federal prison.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office says 44-year old Ryan Marshall Thomas Streets committed drug trafficking offenses while on federal supervised release for a prior gun conviction.
Streets, who resided in Onslow, distributed large quantities of meth on two occasions in January of 2023 in Maquoketa while he was on federal supervised release for a prior gun offense. In March, his supervised release was revoked, and he was sentenced to two-years in custody for violating the conditions of his supervised release.
In July, Streets pleaded guilty to two counts of distribution of a controlled substance.
He was sentenced on Thursday to 14 years in federal prison for distributing methamphetamine and must also serve a five-year term of supervised release after his prison term.
Streets is being held in the U.S. Marshal’s custody until he can be transported to a federal prison.
