Beckman Catholic recently held their annual Academic Awards ceremony.
Students were awarded academic letters for meeting GPA requirements, and several students were recognized as scholarship recipients for two separate awards given annually at this ceremony.
Congratulations to this year’s recipients of the Sister Mary Clare Miller Award – Judith Williams, Griffin Davis, Shawn Brunsman and Charissa Heisler (pictured above). This scholarship is voted on by the faculty members of Beckman Catholic and each recipient receives a $500 scholarship. They are asked to choose students who demonstrate superior academic efforts, respect, responsibility, and integrity.
Recipients of this year’s Top of the Class Scholarship were Judith Williams and Kaitlyn Besler (pictured below). The Class of 1997 Top of the Class Scholarship is dedicated to the memories of Christa Deutmeyer and Dean Funke and provides a partial $1,000 scholarship to be put towards their senior year tuition at Beckman Catholic for the recipients. The scholarship is awarded to two students whose spirit closely resembles that of Christa and Dean in areas of character, service, leadership, and academics.
