You’ve got plenty of chances to get some good deals in Delaware County this weekend with three community garage sales – and the proceeds are going to some great causes.
St. Mary’s Home and School Stars will host their annual garage sale at St. Mary’s Parish Center in Manchester. Charity Loecke says the sale will run Friday from 4 to 7 pm and Saturday from 9 to noon.
Tifany Meyer says items will be accepted starting today.
Also this weekend, several churches are partnering to host the annual Ryan Spring Garage Sale at St. Patrick’s Gym on Friday from 8 to 6 and Saturday from 8 to 11 (with all donations going to a special needs fund). And the Team Aubree Garage Sale for Diabetes will be taking place at the Delaware County Fairgrounds Community Center on Friday from 8 to 5 and Saturday from 8 to 1 (with all proceeds to be donated to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).
Loecke says it’s great to have several garage sales in one weekend.
Proceeds from the St. Mary’s Home and School Stars Garage Sale goes to a general fund, but many times it helps pay for the students’ field trips.
