Manchester City Council Discusses Proposed Levy Rate

The Manchester City Council held a public hearing on Monday night to discuss the proposed levy rate.

City Manager Tim Vick says the levy rate will be going down.

Vick says the budget presentation will take place at the next council meeting on April 22nd, when the public hearing will be held for adopting the budget. In the meantime, you can find the budget presentation on the City of Manchester’s website – go to Board Docs and pull up the agenda to see how the budget was prepared.

In other Manchester City Council news, the council approved the first reading of a proposed ordinance amendment that gives better clarity for regulating the operation of mobile food trucks in Manchester.
