County Candidates Announced for June Primary Election

The Primary election is coming up June 4th and the ballots are set. Here is a look at the candidates running on the county level in the seven counties in the KMCH listening area.

 

Delaware County

Republican ballot:

  • Jeff Madlom for County Supervisor District 1
  • Dan Wheeler for County Supervisor District 2
  • Carla Becker for County Auditor
  • Travis Hemesath for County Sheriff

There are no candidates running on the Democratic ballot in Delaware County.

 

Dubuque County

Republican ballot:

  • Harley V. Pothoff and Scott E. Nelson for County Supervisor
  • Keith Lucy for County Auditor

Democratic ballot:

  • Kevin Dragotto for County Auditor
  • Joseph Kennedy for County Sheriff
  • Karol Kennedy to fill a vacancy for County Recorder

 

Buchanan County

Republican ballot:

  • Kris Wilgenbusch for County Auditor
  • Scott Buzynski for County Sheriff

Democratic ballot:

  • Brian Donnelly and Rick Wulfekuhle for County Supervisor

 

Jones County

Republican ballot:

  • John Schlarmann for County Supervisor District 1
  • Jennifer Karpf and Jeff Swisher for County Supervisor District 5
  • Whitney Hein for County Auditor
  • Greg Graver for County Sheriff

Democratic ballot:

  • Joe Oswald for County Supervisor District 2

 

Linn County

Republican ballot:

  • Brandi Zumbach Meisheid for County Supervisor District 3

Democratic ballot:

  • Molly Donahue for County Supervisor District 3
  • Todd Taylor for County Auditor
  • Brian Gardner for County Sheriff

 

Clayton County

Republican ballot:

  • Ray Peterson for County Supervisor
  • Brent Ostrander and Brandon Taylor for County Sheriff

Democratic ballot:

  • Jennifer Garms for County Auditor

 

Fayette County

Republican ballot:

  • Jay Peterson, Ray Steffens and Alex Popenhagen for County Supervisor
  • Lori Moellers for County Auditor
  • Paul Becthold and Marty Fisher for County Sheriff

There are no candidates running on the Democratic ballot in Fayette County.
