The Dyersville Chamber has named their Dyersville Area Woman of the Year.
Ashley Hall won the honor at the Chamber’s Annual Women’s Night event on Wednesday night.
Hall – a mother of four – was nominated for epitomizing strength and love. Her nomination letter says: “Despite facing challenges like her child’s cancer diagnosis and her own risky pregnancy, she fundraises for pediatric cancer causes and supports families dealing with alopecia. Her selflessness and generosity inspire admiration for her commitment to helping others.”
Other nominees for the Dyersville Area Woman of the Year included Christa Kay McLane, Emily Snedden, Jayme Lammers, Kami Boffeli, Monika Steffen and Vicki Recker.
During Women’s Night at the Total Fitness Rec Center, women from across the area were treated to a catered meal, vendors and entertainment from the Trivial Dudes.
