It’s going to get a little chilly tonight.
The National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory for Delaware, Dubuque, Buchanan, Clayton, Jones and Linn counties from 1 to 8 am on Friday, with a Freeze Warning in effect for Fayette County.
Temperatures are expected to reach into the low to mid 30s overnight.
Sensitive outdoor plants or vegetation could be damaged or killed, so forecasters encourage you to cover anything you’d like to protect from the cold.
The cold overnight lows are expected to stick around through the weekend before temperatures begin warming up next week.
