A Manchester home was struck by the wheel of a SUV earlier this week.
The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office says it happened on the north side of town on Monday morning around 10:30 am.
According to the accident report, a SUV lost its front driver’s side wheel rim and tire while heading north in the 1900 block of Highway 13. The driver, Emily Main of Manchester, told authorities she didn’t know where the wheel went at the time of the incident.
Later that day, the residents at 17235 191st Street reported their house and air conditioning unit had been struck by the wheel of a vehicle. The impact caused around five thousand dollars in damage to the AC unit and to the siding of the home.
No one was injured.
