Larry LaVern Lincoln, 86, of Strawberry Point, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at his home surrounded by family. He was born on August 11, 1936, in rural Strawberry Point, the son of Charles and Irene (Fry) Lincoln. Larry was a 1954 graduate of Dundee High School. After graduation, Larry started farming with his dad by Strawberry Point. He also helped farm and did chores with his grandpa.
On August 28, 1955, Larry was united in marriage to Audrey Flaucher at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. Three children were born to this union. The family resided in Dundee for five years before starting to farm together near Strawberry Point.
Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being outdoors. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Audrey Lincoln of Strawberry Point; his three children, Gary (Patty) Lincoln of Strawberry Point, Lori (Roger, Sr.) Paul of Greeley, and Tina (Steve) Malone of Greeley; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; eight siblings, John Lincoln of Strawberry Point, Marvin Lincoln of Independence, Marlene Fritz of Marion, Linda (Arnie) Kula of Prairieburg, Ronnie (Josie) Lincoln of Las Vegas, Nevada, Wendy (Al) Cole of Strawberry Point, Vicky (Rusty) Gibbs of Lamont, and Dean Lincoln of Strawberry Point; sister-in-law, Maxine Lincoln of Strawberry Point; and many nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; two grandsons, Caleb Lincoln and Ben Malone; brother, Gerald “Jerry” Lincoln; sister, Sandra Forney; and a sister-in-law, Shirley (Leon) Siebert.

Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m., on Monday, March 6, 2023, at the United Methodist Church in Strawberry Point, Iowa, with Pastor Lisa Schroeder officiating.
Visitation: 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Strawberry Point, Iowa. Friends may also call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church on Monday.
Interment: Forestville Cemetery – Dundee, Iowa
