The Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office says the Dubuque County area is currently being targeted by a phone scam.
The scammer advises there is a legal matter for the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office and then provides a number for you to call. The number, (563) 220-4351, has a voicemail that claims to be for some fabricated position at the Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities say this number is not affiliated with the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office in any way, so do not give them any of your personal information.
