Heartland Youth for Christ is hosting an event this weekend.
Area Director Jessica Pape says Heartland Youth for Christ is a program that focuses on holistic care for teens. They’re active in Delaware, Clayton, Linn and Benton counties – and they just added Dubuque County to their area a few months ago. Pape says they know students are struggling and they strive to point 11 to 19 year olds to hope and be a positive support for them.
Pape says this weekend, they’ll be bringing in a comedian for their Comedy for a Cause event.
The show will take place on Saturday night in Cedar Rapids from 6:30 to 8:30 pm – or you can watch via livestream at theStone Church in Manchester.
Tickets are available online at heartlandyfc.org. VIP seating is available for $50 or general seating is $30 in advance (or $35 the day of the event). You can also attend the livestream event for $10.
