Dyersville Hosting Summer Farm Toy Show & Tractor Ride

Dyersville is hosting the Summer Farm Toy Show this weekend – kicking off with today’s Tractor Ride to Edgewood.

Dozens of tractors will be leaving the Beckman high school parking lot around 8:30 am, taking X-49 out of town and turning west onto C-64 with a breakfast stop in Petersburg. Then they’ll take C-64 and Highways 38 and 3 to Edgewood and stop for lunch at Ed-Co High School. They’ll head back to Dyersville this afternoon, taking C60X, X-21, C-64, Highway 38 and Old 20. You can find the Tractor Ride map below.

The Summer Farm Toy Show runs Saturday from 9 to 5 and Sunday from 9 to 2 at the National Farm Toy Museum and Beckman Catholic High School. You can browse farm toy dealers from across the United States – they’ll be bringing a variety of scales – new and antique – and all of the favorite tractor brands. There’s a Farm Toy Display contest, full-scale tractors on hand and a Lawn & Garden Display. And the National Farm Toy Museum is celebrating 75 years of the Ertl brand with an exhibit called Ertl Land.

And tractor riders from the area will be making their way through Dyersville with the tractor parade on Saturday night at 6:30 pm.
