Cascade Man Dies after Jones County Collision
A Cascade man has died following a collision in Jones County on Friday.
It happened northeast of Anamosa in front of 18216 Highway 64 around 2 pm. The Iowa State Patrol says 74-year old Donald Supple of Cascade was traveling westbound when his SUV crossed the centerline and hit an oncoming SUV head-on.
Supple was airlifted to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He died on Saturday.
The other driver, 58-year old Ricky Larkey of Hiawatha, was injured and transported to St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids.
The accident remains under investigation.
