Peosta’s very first student housing building is getting ready to open – just in time for the new school year.
It’s called College Suites and the new development sits right next door to NICC.
That’s Manchester developer Wes Schulte, who oversaw the project. He says they started looking into the idea in January of 2021.
The College Suites apartments are geared towards traditional students, with anywhere from studio to 1, 2 or 4 bedroom units available. Schulte says roommate matching is an option too. The building has 24-hour surveillance, a fitness center, a lounge, in-unit laundry and study rooms – and the apartments are already furnished. Schulte says the public can get a sneak peek of College Suites today during the grand opening and open house from 1 to 3 pm.
