Bring Me My Lunch Day 1 Winner – Nick Knepper

It’s Day 1 of the “KMCH, Bring Me My Lunch” contest!

For three weeks around 8:30 am (weekdays from September 25th through October 13th), we’re calling a local farmer on their cell phone – and if they answer their phone by saying, “KMCH, Bring Me My Lunch”, that’s exactly what we’ll do! We’ll deliver them lunch for four from one of our local participating restaurants.

Congratulations to Nick Knepper, who farms near Hopkinton – our winner of the “KMCH, Bring Me My Lunch” contest on Monday, September 25th! Nick answered his phone correctly on our second try this morning. Eric Walker delivered lunch from Roast & Toast in Delhi, along with some goodies from the Delaware County Pork Producers and the contest’s exclusive sponsor, Farmers Union Cooperative. Listen to our interview with Nick here:

Farmers, there’s plenty of time to enter – just get your name and cell phone number to us by calling the station at (563) 927-6249 or our studio line at (563) 927-8808 or you can sign up online at https://kmch.com/contests/bring-me-my-lunch/. And then be sure to answer with the winning phrase if your cell phone rings!
