The West Delaware School Board welcomed their newly-elected board members at their meeting Monday night.
Superintendent Dr. Kristen Rickey says they recognized their outgoing board members as well.
The new board will pick up where the old board left off with continuing the process of searching for a new superintendent. Grundmeyer Leadership Services has been hired to lead the search, with the position now posted.
Parents in the school district have received a survey about the new superintendent search and Rickey says community members are invited to take the survey too.
West Delaware is expected to name a new superintendent sometime in February.
