Delaware County Senior & Junior Livestock Judging Teams Compete in Illinois

Members of the Delaware County Senior and Junior Livestock Judging Teams traveled to Galva, Illinois to participate in the Dan Hoge Invitational on Saturday, March 2nd.

The Junior Team placed 4th in the sheep/goat category and was just edged out of the top 5 with a 6th place overall finish. Nolan Hemann earned several individual awards including 10th in hogs, 3rd in cattle, 2nd in questions – and 4th overall.

The Senior Team cracked the top 20 with an 18th place overall finish.

Their coaches say this was a great opportunity for the Livestock Judging Teams to practice and prepare for the state competition in April.
