Firefighters Respond to Small Grass and Timber Fire North of Manchester
Firefighters responded to a small grass and timber fire north of Manchester on Monday afternoon.
The Manchester Fire Department was called to the Terry Koelker property at 1759 Firefly Road around 4 pm. Fire Chief Kevin Graybill says a spark from a trash fire in a burn barrel started a fire in a small grass and timber area. Graybill says a small storage shed containing a mower and lawn furniture was destroyed.
The Dundee Fire Department provided mutual aid. Firefighters spent about an hour and a half at the scene.
No one was injured.
