Several West Delaware and Maquoketa Valley speech students have been named to the 2024 Individual Events All-State by the Iowa High School Speech Association.
West Delaware has three nominees. Caleb Stocks in Acting, Stephanie La Rosa in Expository Address and Evan Dunkel in Spontaneous Speaking (pictured above).
Maquoketa Valley’s speech teams received seven nominations – including Allison Hogan in prose, Lily Huber in poetry, George Livingston in spontaneous speaking, Kaitlyn Nolan in expository address and solo musical theatre, Josie Teymer in expository address, and McKenna Bush in reviewing (pictured below).
Individual All-State took place on Monday at the University of Northern Iowa.
