Attorney General Bird Visits Manchester

Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird was in Manchester on Friday afternoon.

Bird toured Henderson Products as part of her 99 County Tour across the state.

Bird is now in her second year of serving as Iowa’s Attorney General after winning election in 2022 over Democrat Tom Miller, who had become the longest serving state attorney in the country.

Bird told KMCH about a new bill to raise penalties for assaults against law enforcement,

Bird also has plans to build a cold case unit in her office.

Bird also visited Buchanan County for a tour of CBL Hog Farm in Winthrop.
