Osborne Nature Center’s O.W.L.S. Program

The first Older, Wiser, Livelier, Souls program of the season will be on Thursday, March 21st. This year’s theme is “NEIA Farm and Ag Tour”, and March’s program will be a visit to the Dummermuth Historical Buildings in Elgin. Please meet at Osborne Park at 10:15 am to carpool to the destination.

Are you looking for an excuse to get out of the house, meet new friends and enjoy a meal while you learn about our area?

Join us the 3rd Thursday of each month, March through November, for O.W.L.S., Older Wiser Livelier Souls. March’s tour will be of the Dummermuth Historical Buildings, which preserve farm and home antiques from the 1890’s-1920’s. The tour will include the Hart Dummermuth Historical Home, which has been set up to depict a turn of the century farm home, the Mavis and Conner Dummermuth Historical Building, which houses a large collection of farm and pioneer equipment, and then the reconstructed timber sawmill.
