Manchester’s East Main Street Project Moves Onto Next Phase

Manchester’s East Main Street project has moved onto its next phase.

The Stiles Street intersection re-opened late last week. And the alternating traffic has switched to the temporary road on the east half of the project. The signal light for the eastbound traffic is now in front of Manchester Chiropractic, while the signal light for the westbound traffic is in front of McCarren Drive – with traffic in both lanes shifting to the south onto the temporary road.

Manchester City Manager Tim Vick:

All businesses in that area of East Main Street remain open. Signs are posted to help drivers know where to enter each business.

The City expects the project to be finished by November 1st.
