A Coggon woman has been re-elected to the Iowa State Fair Board.
Deb Zumbach will once again serve as one of two directors for the Board’s northeast district. She’s also been elected as a board officer for 2023, set to serve her first term as treasurer for the Iowa State Fair Board.
Zumbach has been a member of the Linn County Fair Association since 2005.
Monticello resident and former Great Jones County Fair Manager John Harms also serves on the Iowa State Fair Board as the other director for the northeast district.
Zumbach and Harms are serving staggered two-year terms. They are among twelve board members from six geographic districts across Iowa, with Fair Board Secretary/Manager/CEO Gary Slater and the Iowa Governor, Iowa Secretary of Ag and Iowa State University President also getting a seat on the board.
They’re busy preparing for next year’s Iowa State Fair, which will run August 10th through the 20th.
