A small fire broke out at the BP gas station in Epworth on Wednesday.
The Epworth Fire Department says they were dispatched around 11:45 am for a report of smoke in the back of the gas station on 206 Center Avenue.
When firefighters arrived, they found a small electrical fire. They were able to minimize the damage, ventilate the smoke in the back room and clear the scene in less than thirty minutes.
The scene was turned back over to the business and their electricians were notified.
