HACAP Hiring Teachers for Manchester’s Head Start Preschool Program

HACAP is hiring teachers for Manchester’s Head Start preschool program.

The ongoing labor shortage has left local nonprofit Hawkeye Area Community Action Program (HACAP), with two primary openings for an Early Childhood Teacher and Long-Term Substitute in HACAP’s preschool program called Head Start located at 1001 Doctor St. inside Lambert Elementary.

“We’re looking for passionate mission-driven people who want to make a difference by serving their community in an exciting way”, says Jane Drapeaux, HACAP CEO.

Vacancies in critical roles could lead to the closing of centers if staffing requirements are not met, which in turn could lead to a gap in critical childcare services for families in need in the Delaware County area.

In addition to the comprehensive benefits package, HACAP offers competitive pay in a positive work environment that is impact driven. For full job descriptions or information on how to apply, please visit hacap.org/careers.
